The world’s first
Flatbed MRI.

Scroll

The DeepSpin MRI Flatbed represents a first-of-its-kind approach to MRI, designed from the ground up around magnetic fields in their natural, inhomogeneous state.

First principles engineering

Freeing MRI from decades of
inherited design conventions.

Breakthrough projected-field imaging

Conventional MRI has been shaped by decades of legacy hardware and technological lock-in, enforcing magnetic field homogeneity through complex, infrastructure-heavy systems and limiting innovation to incremental optimization.

DeepSpin breaks this paradigm by designing low-field MRI (≤0.35 T) to work with naturally inhomogeneous magnetic fields, enabled by a single-sided electromagnet.

This approach forms the basis of our first-of-its-kind Flatbed open architecture.

No need for costly
MRI infrastructure

No need for costly infrastructure

By using electromagnets and active EMI noise cancellation instead of superconducting or permanent magnets, DeepSpin dramatically reduces MRI infrastructure requirements.

The DeepSpin Flatbed MRI does not rely on shielded rooms, cryogenics, reinforced floors, or high-voltage lines, enabling deployment within standard clinical environments and reducing reliance on specialist MRI operators.

Accessible
anywhere

Accessible anywhere

DeepSpin’s MRI operates from a standard wall outlet, fits into as little as 20 square feet, and features a mobile design that brings advanced imaging into everyday clinical spaces.

The system is operated through a web-based interface and can be used from any standard clinic PC without dedicated control hardware.

Easy to operate with superior safety

No need for costly infrastructure

Fast scan times and unrestricted patient access enable intra-procedural imaging and interventional guidance within routine clinical workflows.

A small fringe field, limited to periods of active scanning, helps minimise projectile risk and supports a high level of operational safety.

By removing the traditional closed bore, DeepSpin’s Flatbed design creates an open, clinician-friendly environment that supports patient comfort during advanced imaging.
